Cub Scouts are girls and boys aged 8, 9 and 10

North Pack Meeting Time – Monday  6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Please remember to pay your subs $40 each term by the fourth week of the new term.

Your assistance is very welcome and enables us to keep an exciting programs so parents, grandparents and carers please help out when you can. The support committee would love to get some new members this year and that is a great way to get involved if you can’t make it on Cubs nights. Please speak to one of the leaders about ways you can help.

Joey Cub Day 2018

We are looking to take a bus trip up to Joey Cub Day in Perth on Saturday 23rd June 2018. This day is a real adventure and lots of FUN!  Drop-off at Carey Park Scout Hall at 6.15am, pick-up will be between 6.00pm and 6.30pm.

Location: Whiteman Park, Lord Street, Whiteman WA

Cost: $50 per cub (includes transport to/from Perth, a FUN filled day of activities & lunch)

 

It is IMPERATIVE that we have the RSVP to Mysa at the scout hall by Wednesday 9th May 2018 or emailed to cubleaders@careyparkscouts.org.au, as final numbers have to be registered by that date. FAILURE to do so, may mean missing out. Return of completed Y3 Form (see below) and payment, should follow ASAP.

*NOTE: It should be noted that once the RSVP has been returned and the RSVP date has passed, the Joey or Cub is committed to a non-refundable $20 payment for the registration cost. This is the cost borne by the group for registration and is not refundable*

 

Please attend activity in FULL Uniform. Please remember to pack a Water Bottle (filled), a jacket or coat (rain jacket if weather is looking ominous), and a Carey Park Hat (some spare hats will be available if needed).

******NOTE: NO SNACKS permitted on the bus******

 

Please see below for your down loadable Y3 to be completed. Please return a scanned completed Y3 via email to cubleaders@careyparkscouts.org.au by Wednesday 20th June 2018 (at the very latest). Failing this, please return the completed Y3 to a normal section night. If you can not print, please let one of the leader’s know and we will try and bring one to a normal section meeting, prior to the cut-off date Wednesday 20th June 2018.

NOTE: RSVP STILL required by Wednesday 9th May 2018, regardless of the completion of Y3 or payment.

Required Y3 for Joey Cub Day – Term 2 2018

 

 Combined District Kub Kar Derby 2018

Our Annual Kub Kar Derby is on again at the Eaton District Campsite on Sunday 17th June 2018. This day is a FUN day racing our hand made cars down a pre-prepared track to gain bragging right’s within the district.

Official information has not yet been released, but going off previous year’s the registration takes place between 8-9am, with racing taking place until 3pm. More information and a Y3 will be uploaded when it becomes available (WATCH THIS SPACE)!

 

Location: Eaton District Campsite, Leake Street, Eaton WA

Cost: $15/Cub (including Lunch) – To be Confirmed
